We bring our best cars, or our dailies. $1 admission fee. We talk shop, we talk motorsports, etc. And we get to show our cars on the floor, and hold presentations ranging from the practical to the hilariously dumb. Bring our b rand of knowledge and humor to the masses. And entertain while we're at it. 

I think it would be awesome.

I’d like to think I was that important too.  I really dislike people taking my picture.  After 10 years I finally put a picture on Linkdin bc I was thinking of changing jobs.

As daender points out, the Tail of the Dragon Oppomeet had a photo opportunity and we could check out each other’s cars, but while we randomly encountered one Jalop (Josh) who joined us, it wasn’t exactly a show inviting public participation.

I have been thinking recently that it would be possible to grab a corner at Cars and Coffee in , put up signage representing Oppositelock, and invite others into conversation as well as online participation. Similar to parking in a block at the Nashville Oppomeet last year, but with added signage and not heading out as soon for a drive.

Fair warning: my FR-S isn’t anything to write home about, aside from the Pilot Sport 4S tires that were the talk of the show.

Aside from that, I’d love the idea of having a show where, at an Cars and Coffee Event, the Oppo contingent talked about the interesting aspects of cars. For example, my FR-S has some design comparisons with the 2000GT and shares an engine layout with the Sports 800.

It would be something akin to free advertisement for Oppo while showing that we know about cars.

Well, that YOU know about cars, anyway . . .

Each car could have an explanation sheet under the windshield wiper, with the Oppo logo. My explanation sheet would read: Good tires, and upgraded rear sway bar! Stand in awe!
